Saw a motorcycle get smoked this morning. I obviously made sure I was able to make myself safe on the highway and then attended. Rider was slightly injured, but OK. Luckily, we were literally a few yards from an ambulance station. The ambulance was there before we could get the bike from under the Audi that hit him.
I would never ride a bike in Metro Vancouver.

I feel the same way about metro Seattle.
I was into it for awhile, but a few close calls + my hands of stone + seeing a Kia Sedona bulldoze an old guy on a showboat Harley (no serious injuries, but the bike went down, van changed lanes apparently without looking - typical Bellevue ) + too many close calls when in a car or on foot has made bikes lose their luster for me on public roads.

Maybe in quite rural areas. I suspect even around Bellingham can be dopey, like on the Guide in town.
Around here, maybe in an outlying area on a Sunday morning before 9am.
